The Engineering Technology Department is YNWTP's department with strongest technical force, with a technical team with rich experiences and techniques in tobacco engineering. It operates the following businesses:
1. Dust-collecting engineering for tobacco industry and industrial and mining establishments
YNWTP undertakes dust-collecting engineering and various tobacco production lines' technical renovation engineering for tobacco enterprises in and outside Yunnan. YNWTP completed the central dust-collecting system for the 103 tobacco production line expansion engineering of Yuxi Cigarette Factory. YNWTP has a technical staff with a good grasp of techniques in the design, manufacture, installation, debugging and after service of bag-type and tube-type dust collectors and the dust-collecting systems of central air-conditioners. Almost each tobacco or cigarette factory in Yunnan has dust-collecting systems provided by YNWTP.
To keep up with the development of science and technology, and in response to the government's requirements for industrial environment, the Engineering Technology Department introduced the advanced biological filter pond tobacco's odorant removing system from Cardwell . This system makes use of some active, harmless germs to decompose tobacco's odorant into water and carbohydrates instead of using expensive odorant removing chemical agents. Yuxi Hongta Group Co., Ltd. and Hangzhou Cigarette Factory is the user of this system.
YNWTP is the general agency of dust-collecting equipment manufactured by Torit DCE. Apart from marketing various bag-type and tube-type dust collectors, YNWTP designs dust-collecting systems, and designs, manufactures and installs the matching pipeline systems. In the recent years we designed and installed dust-collecting systems for many large-sized tobacco enterprises, including Kunming Cigarette Factory, Xuanwei Tobacco Flue Curing Plant and Baoji Cigarette Factory.
2. Self-made Equipment
YNWTP has successfully manufactured some mechanical equipment itself, including the YK2-type block/rod making machine, waste smoke recycling machines, raw material vibrating and separating screen, plywood boards and tobacco cutter for laboratory purpose. These products were developed using lots of human and material resources in the light of China's situation based on the study of many successful models of the same kind available at home and abroad. They are used by many tobacco enterprises, including Xuanwei Tobacco Flue Curing Plant and Baoji Cigarette Factory, Baoji Cigarette Factory, Lanzhou Cigarette Factory and Tianshui Cigarette Factory.
